Asher came to us all the way from Russia! He is a STUNNING boy that embodies true dachshund type in a miniature size! We are so excited to have him here with us, he fit in with the other dogs immediately, loves to play and especially snuggle!
Asher was a star in the show ring at his very first show, earning him a 5 point major and a 4 point major!! His second show he won back to back Best of Varieties and a Hound Group 1!! He finished his Championship in 3 shows, and continued on to finish his Grand Championship at a handful of shows. He is also an International/Intercontinental Canine Kennel Club Champion, we did an ICKC cluster (7 shows in 2 days) Asher won 4 Best in Shows, 1 Reserve Best In Show and the coveted "Best Dog in Cluster"!! We couldn't be more proud of this exceptional boy!!! He has gone on to produce us some beautiful puppies!! We look forward to them following in their fathers pawprings in the ring!!

GCH TELKEL'S NOTHING BUT THE BEST SL "ROYCE"
Royce is our resident Standard Dachshund! He is one of the most loving boys ever!! He is just starting his fun filled show career, along with enjoying his life as a puppy, playing, digging and being a snuggle bug!! He made his show ring debut and finished in 3 weekends, with 3 Major wins, 3 Best of Variety placements, and a Hound Group 3 under breeder/judge John P. Wade!! He went on to finish his Grand Championship in a FLASH!! This boy and I are quite the team, he's my constant buddy and we enjoy all of our time together in and out of the ring!!
Royce will be shown very selectively in 2015, as of July 2014 he's made it into the top 15 for Breed Points. We are SO proud of what this young boy has accomplished already!! I can't wait for the ride we go on when he's mature!!

HHF ROCKSOLIDS THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS MLD
Wynn is our resident snuggle bug and dog bed occupier!! He is one of the sweetest most laid back boys, but is so fun loving and happy with so many wags and kisses to give!! Wynn will start his show carrier in mid 2015, he is a future stud here at Longdogia Dachshunds and we have great plans for him and some of our girls!!

BOSS GCH Longdogia's Whiskey Tango Foxtrot MLD ~ "Bravo"
Bravo was born here at Longdogia Dachshunds. He was our keeper puppy from Rocky & Faith's litter in 2024. His very first show was a huge specialty show in Ohio where he was awarded Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex over top ranked longhairs for a 5 point major! He also went on to Best Bred By in Show. His second weekend he picked up two more specialty majors in lovely entries and was awarded Best Bred By in Show at one of the specialties! We went to the National Miniature Dachshund Club Specialties in Ohio and Bravo went Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed from the classes! He finished his championship the same week as the NMDC Specialties under a well respected breeder judge. He went on to finish his Grand Championship in a flash, finishing this title under Hound legend Patricia Trotter! This little guys show career is just getting started and we are beyond proud of all he has accomplished already. We're looking forward to his future! ​

CH LANDD Cranberry Bourbon On The Rocks ~ "Rocky"
I saw Rocky at the Nationals back in 2023 and knew I wanted to breed our girl Faith to him, when it was time for her to have a litter. We did that breeding in mid 2024 and produced our boy Bravo. When the opportunity presented itself for Rocky to come join us in Tennessee we couldn't turn it down. Rocky is the sweetest little lovebug, he loves everyone he meets and always has little neck hugs for anyone holding him. He is such a wonderful and correct boy that passes beautiful type and his temperament onto his puppies. Rocky and I hit the ring together in Mississippi at a show with two large specialties and he brought home big 4 point major. At our second show together at the St Louis Dachshund Club Specialties he brought home another 4 point major to finish his championship. We're looking forward to everything Rocky has to offer our program in the future. Rocky is co-owned with our friends Adam and Madeline Peterson (pictured with Rocky above).

BISS GCHB Longdogia's Green With Envy ML ~ "Sprout"
Sprout was born here at Longdogia Dachshunds. He was our keeper puppy from our one and only litter out of Gracie (see retired dogs page) and sired by our handsome boy Gamble. Sprout is one of the sweetest boys on the planet, he loves everyone and is the goofball in our group of dogs. He hit the show ring at select shows, mostly specialties, and finished his Championship in a flash. He then went on to finish his Grand Championship in a handful of our following shows. I took Sprout to a big specialty show in Virginia and he checked a BIG item off my bucket list by being the first dog I bred that won a BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW!! We're so proud of this boy and all that he's accomplished! Sprout lives with a friend of ours in Mississippi where he is working on performance titles and being the best lap dog ever! He will still occasionally be part of our program in the future.

GCH Lekoll Bobbi Sharm Ukradi Moy Poceluy ~ "Gamble"
Gamble came to us from our friend Virginia when she decided to downsize her program. He's a half brother to Asher who we lost in 2021. Asher contributed so much to our program, we didn't hesitate when Gamble became available. Gamble came to us almost finished with his Grand Championship, he and I entered the ring together and finished it in one day with a big major win in March of 2023. He is a sweet gentile boy that is my mom's constant shadow. He chose her as his person and he is always 2 steps behind her. Gamble has contributed to so much to our program with 2 beautiful litters, we're grateful he was able to come join our program.
